These are the states a trigger event can have. A new event is always "WAITING". The class that created the event is responisble to set the state to PROCESSING when its getNextEvent() method is called. The implementation of getNextEvent() must ensure that each event is processed only once. The states SUCCEEDED and FAILED are set by the MoMaLauncher depending on the result of the MoMa run.
